WordPress Maintenance Plans Terms & Conditions

All support plans are invoiced on a monthly basis and are on a 3-month rolling contract with a one month notice period to cancel.

All plans are subject to a paid assessment of your site for suitability before a support plan is agreed (unless I already know the state of your site). Old, very out-of-date, or broken sites may require additional time to get them into a workable state before a support plan can commence. Any required work will be agreed in advance and invoiced separately with all costs based on my daily or hourly rates (see below).

On one of the above plans, the chances of something going wrong with your site will be greatly reduced however, I can’t guarantee that something won’t go wrong. If it does though, you’ll be in a good position for it to be investigated and you’ll be well looked after until it’s fixed.

Let me answer that with an emphatic YES! Just like a vehicle your WordPress website needs continued maintenance to run properly, so it can continue to function and serve you and your clients without issue.

Yes I will!

I will maintain any website as long as it’s built with WordPress. That being said there is a one-time fee to update your website initially if I did not build it myself.

This fee may be waived if you’ve generally kept up with updates on your WordPress site but may increase if your website is extremely out of date and would take a lot of hours to bring back up to speed.

Please contact me to schedule an initial look at your sites backend so I can access how long it will take to get it ready for the monthly Maintenance packages.

The website will be immediately rolled-back to the state it was in before the update took place. The issue will then be documented in your monthly reports.

For our Standard and Pro support plans the majority of issues are addressed free of cost, however I cannot be held responsible for any user caused errors, custom plugins or the addition of conflicting plug-ins, editing or adding new code, etc. Especially time-consuming issues may be billable. Phantom Freelance will contact you before billing for any additional work.

Being a car owner my motto was always “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I generally apply the same rule to WordPress plugins. If it’s not causing any issues or opening up any security flaws, there is no reason to jump to something else. That being said the plugin will be monitored monthly, and should an issue arise I will contact you regarding the severity of the problem and most likely a suggest an alternative.

Of course! I’ve no desire to trick you into signing something that you might later regret. What I do want, is what’s best for both of us, now and in the future.

The cancellation policy is as follows:

You may cancel your monthly website support at any time by providing me notice in writing 30 days in advance. iDesignsite (Kuda Chingz ) may cancel services at any time when support matching payments made have been delivered by providing notice in writing 30 days in advance.

At this time, I do not. My support hours are (excluding holidays) Monday to Friday, 8am – 1pm PST.

Once you have chosen your support plan I will send over an intake form along with the contract for you to sign. The details collected will help me to setup certain services so I can provide you the plugin and theme updates, malware & security scanning, weekly cloud backups, etc. I keep all of your information private and will never share it with a third party.

iDesignsite will continuously monitors your website with ongoing security scans. If there is an issue I will be notified. Your website is also manually checked once a month while performing regular WordPress updates. Unfortunately, even with proactive monitoring, no one can catch every security issue. In the event a breach does take place, my goal is to respond immediately within business hours. Valid security concerns take precedent over any and all other development tasks I may be working on.

In the event your website is hacked, the site cleanup and removal service is included with the Standard and Pro Support packages. If you are subscribed to the Lite Support Plan you will be notified of the hack along with an estimated cost of the repair.

If you have website requests that require more than your dedicated monthly time, I’ll let you know. I provide offers for bulk hours to be purchased. If you purchase bulk hours you can roll any unused time and use it at a later date. If it’s a large request, we’ll send you a quote to get your approval before we proceed. If you need a one-off set of hours we will quote accordingly before you exceed your limit.

You certainly can! Upgrading the support level in between subscription periods will be prorated, simply put, no loss of payments will occur.
