Introduction
This project features a new website created by consolidating two previously separate sites: Black Diamond Plumbing and Black Diamond Electrical. The former focused on installing and maintaining home plumbing systems, while the latter specialized in installing and maintaining commercial solar farms.
The rationale behind the merger was to streamline the marketing process by promoting a single site and more effectively representing the wide range of products and services the companies offer.
The project required the careful supervision of a Search Marketing Consultant to ensure minimal interruption to new customer inquiries during the transition to a new domain name.
The new site runs on a bespoke WordPress theme, with modular components that offer flexibility for the client and an easy editing experience.
Featuring a wealth of useful information for both domestic and commercial customers, the service pages are fully optimized for search engines. Just four months after launch, the homepage is already ranking in position 2 on the first page of Google for the terms “plumbing in Illinois” and “HVAC contractor Illinois,” with other more specific keywords continuing to improve in performance as Google gains a better understanding of the new site.
