The client asked for a new look for their website, which needed to be more modern. The website was built with the idea of expanding it in the future
They wanted me to create a new and attractive design and improve the website’s back end. They also wanted to put more emphasis on the user interface because the old website only focused on the blog.
Also integrated Ken burns effect and lite speed for website speed optimization
The goal
The old website of Poseidon was made with old software and looked outdated. The stakeholders wanted me to create a refreshing design and clean up the website on the back-end. they also wanted more focus on the homepage itself, since the old website only focused on the blogposts.
Result
First I exported all pages of the old website, then I started looking at what elements were nessecary and which were not. Then I created new sketches, made the design 2024 proof and made sure there was more focus on the magazine itself. This resulted in a complete content website including the webshop for the magazine subscription. I’m really happy with the result and the client was super happy too.
